Many EMS missionaries serve where there are no schools for their children, or the standard of education is low. In some areas, the children are forced to learn Islam against the wishes of their parents. Some children are refused entry to schools because of their parents' faith. Because of this dire need, EMS established a boarding school in Jos in 1996. It provides good Christian education to these less-privileged missionary children.

We hope that this school will help prevent our missionaries having to leave the ministry because of lack of education for their children.There is a clear need to establish more such schools in areas like Kano, Katsina, Kaltungo, Bokoland and Sokoto.
